All states applying for funds under Part B of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) are required to make the application and proposed budget available for public review and comment. Upon approval of Indiana's Part B application from the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), the state will receive a federal grant award for the period of July 1, 2026 through September 30, 2028.
NOTE: The allocations for FFY 2026 have not yet been distributed to States from OSEP. The amounts budgeted on the interactive spreadsheet are only estimates and were predicted using the allocation from FFY 2025. Once OSEP notifies Indiana of its allocation amount for FFY 2026, the budget will be updated and posted to reflect the FFY 2026 allocation.
