The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) is preparing to submit an amendment to its State Plan under the Elementary and Secondary Education (ESEA) to the U.S. Department of Education to reflect flexibilities granted under Indiana's recently approved ESEA Flexibility Waiver for school accountability and identification. This amendment incorporates Indiana's recently approved state accountability model into our federal system to strengthen alignment across systems to promote Indiana's vision for Hoosier Graduates Prepared to Succeed.
As required, IDOE is seeking public comment on this amendment. Comments will be accepted from Friday, October 2, through Friday, November 6.
